Joyful Path of Good Fortune

It looks like it will take just over one hour to copy the 20 CDs onto Itunes so that I will have the audiobook version of the joyful path to good fortune on my iPod. Then one presumes it will take 20 hours at the very least to listen to the book.


No matter to the time, for I will soon be able to transport myself to the Bow room at Madhyamaka, where in the past I have enjoyed their peaceful meditations. That I am loading up this audiobook now is because I thought to do something that I had never done before.

Ok so this isn't such a big new thing, says he has he ejects disk 13 and loads disk 14, not forgetting to say yes, to the do you wish import question. It is though quite a test for my motor-mechanisms, and my patience, he says as in goes disk 17.

It is all about being unsettled isn't it, which we all do go through however perfect things appear on the surface. I myself have an urge to write more spiritual or thoughtful poetry, as I go on that long trip to somewhere entirely new to me,

The day started well enough, the IKEA   ALEFJÄLL chair went together reasonably easily, with little or no assistance! But then the first problem of the day became seriously apparent. For whatever reason, the website work which I had been working on for the last three days wasn't accessible. I'm sure it's all down to my not feeling great after the vaccination. Anyway, as Pangloss often said, it's for the best, because now I am almost a seasoned professional with the Xway software, so it's plain sailing from now on in. The Best Delivery?

Yesterday I received a personal delivery from Mark Merifield, of Off the Beaten Tracks fame. He brought me songs and instrumentals by Adrianne Lenker, which I found on the OTBT website in a way that I wouldn't have found anywhere else. Top marks Mark. I also began my dream journal, where I captured a couple of dreams which would otherwise have been lost. Both times, at the instant of waking, I thought oh no, no dreams to record. But fortunately, within a couple of seconds, the details, of what at first seem like pretty insignificant occurrences, came to me. Only time will tell, but as these are the first entry they will always hold a special place, perhaps also because Richard, who I was best man for nearly fifty years ago, made an appearance. Sailing, I am sailing (but not with Rod Stewart)

I got in touch with Jac Volbeda from the Hebrides, he is an artist and the owner of B&B Bagh Alluin where I planned to stay in May. I was prompted to contact him thanks to Calmac Ferries informing me that that their summer timetables and bookings were now available. I thought I had better check with Jac, to see if he would be open, he responded almost immediately:  I have no idea at the moment.  If the whole situation improves dramatically I will be able to host you but no guarantee.  Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. What more should I have expected, and just how deeply do I need to read these words to find a little bit of hope. Well I thought, there's lot's of sincerity in there, and for a Dutchman, for whom presumably English is a second language, there is lots of flow.
